Welcome to the TurboTech Glossary. You can navigate it by
either the pull-down quick access menu above (requires JavaScript),
or by clicking on any letter of the alphabet at the bottom of
this page.
We encourage you to send us any technical (primarily
computer-related) terms you don't find here. With your help,
the usefulness of this glossary can greatly increase over time.
You're also welcome to link to any terms you want to share
with your friends. You can also use our glossary as a reference
for your page, saving you the work of writing explanations of
your own for terms you are using.
To link to a term, go to the page with its
first letter, then click in the URL box of your browser, and
extend the displayed address by a '#' and the name of the term
(displayed bold-faced in the glossary). Example: to link to the
term "signal bounce", go first to the page for the
letter "S". Click in the URL box, and at the end of
the current address (without inserting a space), type "#signal
bounce" (don't use upper case letters). Your URL should
now look like this: "http://www.turbotech.ch/glossary/s.html#signal
bounce". By sending this address by e-mail or creating
a link to it, anyone clicking on your link will arrive at the
exact term you wanted to refer to.
